This retreat was sold-out in 2023, so we are offering it again! Join artist Caroline Simas and writer Kathy Izard for three days of creating in the beautiful coastal town of Beaufort, SC.
You don’t not need to be a serious artist or writer to attend. We love encouraging women to re-connect to their creative side (yes! We all are creative!) By day will be inspired by the sand and the sea in painting and writing and at night, enjoying fabulous dinners with women, like you, who come to relax and have a great time.
We’ve been known to have a little castle-building contest, try some writing by moonlight, take a wonder walk on the beach and have a dance party or two. Our retreats are starting to have a following so don’t miss your chance to see what Watercolors, Words and Waves might hold for you!

We are excited to be partnering with The Rhett House Inn, a multi-award-winning, classic Southern inn located in the heart of Beaufort’s Historic Landmark District, and choose “Readers’ Choice Best Bed and Breakfast″.
This experience will be limited to twelve women. Please call the Rhett House Inn (843) 524-9030 to book your room and ask for the ‘Kathy Izard Watercolors, Words and Waves retreat’ room block for April 21-24, 2024. Once you register, you will be given the code to secure your room discount. You must register and secure lodging to attend.
Cost: $1950 (limited to twelve women) includes:
Four days and three nights retreat with all art and writing materials provided
All meals and beverages (Three dinners with wine included, three lunches, and three breakfasts)
All guided programs, materials, and coaching provided by Kathy Izard and Caroline Simas
